Dr. Dalmia’s focus is on enhancing quality of life for patients with foot and ankle disorder. She believes that the key elements for successful treatment is open communication and patient education, and tailoring surgical procedures. Her experience and advanced surgical skills make most surgical interventions minimally invasive and rewarding.
She is eager to serve her new community of Portland as she did at University of California at Davis for the last 8 years. She received a B.S. and Masters in Chemistry. Her doctorate was earned at the Temple University school of podiatric medicine in Philadelphia. Thereafter, Dr. Dalmia completed a three-year surgical residency at DeKalb Medical in Decatur, GA.
Dr. Dalmia is also a medical author as well as a faculty member and lecturer for the Podiatry Institute. She has been involved in medical mission trips to Kathmandu, Nepal. Dr. Dalmia loves spending time with her husband and two wonderful daughters. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, swimming and cooking with her family.
