About Dr. Taylor Bunka
Dr. Bunka was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up in Northern California in the Bay Area. She received a B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and then attended podiatry school at the California School of Podiatric Medicine (CSPM) in Oakland, CA. She completed her residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, followed by a one-year fellowship at the California Reconstruction, Trauma, and Arthroplasty Foot and Ankle Fellowship.
Before joining NES, Dr. Bunka worked for a private practice orthopedic group in Gresham, where she had a great deal of exposure to sports medicine injuries. She and her husband moved to Oregon City last year with their two dogs and welcomed a baby girl to their family in March.
