What is podiatry?
Podiatry covers everything from a stubborn ingrown toenail to complex reconstructive surgery. Our board-certified podiatrists are trained to diagnose and treat every condition of the foot and ankle, with a conservative-first philosophy: we start with the least invasive treatment that can solve the problem, and we only escalate to surgery when it is genuinely the right call.
Common reasons to see podiatry
How we diagnose
Your first visit begins with a comprehensive review of your health history, symptoms, and lifestyle, followed by a hands-on physical exam and gait observation. Most NES clinics have on-site digital X-ray, so imaging and a written treatment plan can typically be delivered in a single visit — no separate appointment for outside imaging, no waiting on referral results.
Treatments we offer
We treat the foot and ankle with a conservative-first philosophy across all ages — from children with flat feet or in-toeing, to adults managing chronic pain or sports injuries, to older patients with arthritis or diabetic foot concerns. Surgery is on the table when it is genuinely the right call, but it is never the first option.
